Karine Schilling is a hypnotherapist that came to me with one goal: to make a strategic, yet dramatic, change to her professional image.
When Karine Schilling approached me with the goal of reinventing her professional image, I could sense the lack of confidence in her voice. Looking back on our first meeting, it was evident that Karine wasn’t living up to her true potential. Having witnessed her transformation since then truly highlights the impact of a visual makeover, and Karine will always serve as a reminder of the remarkable power that a shift in appearance can have on one's life.
Describing herself as ‘passive’, ‘very traditional,’ and ‘insecure,’ Karine’s perceptions of her own look prompted me to conduct a morphopsychological analysis based on the shape of her face. The results revealed hidden personality traits, including a confidence that even Karine herself may not have recognised. You see, that’s one of the reasons I love what I do – I help others rediscover traits that they may have overlooked.
Following the analysis, Karine and I had a heart-to-heart conversation. She wholeheartedly embraced the positive characteristics I identified in her and bravely made a decision to replace them with the insecurity she had been feeling. Together, we started the journey to update her image. I’m hugely proud of Karine’s bold acceptance of the proposed changes, and her openness to my suggestions marked a significant step towards embracing the outgoing, vivacious personality she radiates today.
And now for the much-anticipated makeover! Karine’s personalised strategy incorporated bold colour combinations to reflect her happy, young, active, and energetic personality. We focused on bringing sensuality to her image, honouring the feminine silhouette while highlighting authority through the use of structured fabrics. The pièce de résistance was her newly cut medium-length hair, adding movement and the dynamism that naturally complemented Karine’s vibrant spirit.

Fast forward to the present day, and the impact of these aesthetic changes is evident not only in Karine’s confidence but also in her business success. In our follow-up session, Karine shared that she’s retaining more clients because the person she sees in the mirror is now capable of it. My time spent with the wonderful Karine reinforces my belief that changes happens both from the inside out and from the outside in.
