When Erika came to me for an image consultancy, she had already been through two previous processes. Yet, she still couldn’t recognise herself in the mirror. The proposals she’d received before were technically correct, but they didn’t reflect her essence, her lifestyle, or what she truly wanted to communicate.

At the time — around four years ago — Erika was a teacher in a formal institution with a strict dress code. That environment made her image feel even more distant from her true personality: light-hearted, humorous, and practical. On top of that, there was a visual dissonance — her “serious expression” — which bothered her and didn’t reflect the vibrant, fun, and intelligent woman she really is.

In the “before” photos from our consultancy, black, grey, and neutral tones dominated. Structured dresses, tailored blazers, court shoes, and pointed flats (an earlier attempt to soften her image) were elegant, but lacked intention — and were disconnected from her identity. The result was a serious, restrained appearance, far from the lively and confident woman Erika actually is.

Five photos of Erika Yumi before her image consultancy and visual strategy. She is wearing formal and neutral outfits, including blazers, plain blouses, and flat shoes. The looks in black, grey, and orange convey a more serious and traditional image that didn’t yet reflect her light-hearted and good-humoured personality.

The Role of Morphopsychological Analysis in Her Transformation

The turning point came when we applied morphopsychological analysis — a method that studies facial features and how they relate to behavioural tendencies — and identified Erika’s dominant behavioural profile. This was key to understanding not only her aesthetic preferences, but also how she thinks, feels, and expresses herself.

From there, we created a personalised visual strategy, aligned with her personality, her lifestyle, and the image goals she shared during our first interview. The aim was clear: to translate lightness, dynamism, and authenticity, without compromising the practicality she values so much in her everyday life.

From “Getting Ready Is a Chore” to “15 Minutes and I Feel Great”

Throughout the process, it became clear that Erika needed to simplify her dressing routine. She didn’t want to spend an hour getting ready — she wanted outfits that were quick, effortless, and made her feel beautiful and confident.

The solution came through colour blocking, prints, and textures that added energy and style without relying on multiple accessories. The pointed flats gave way to modern trainers, making her looks fresher, more contemporary, and lighter.

For her hair, we added soft layers and a side fringe, which helped soften her features and convey approachability — without losing the authority her role required. The result was a balanced look: elevated yet clean, fully in tune with her lifestyle and who she truly is.

Four photos of Erika Yumi after her image consultancy and visual strategy. She is wearing colourful and modern outfits, including green trousers with a sleeveless turtleneck top, blue trousers with a grey cropped top, a white shirt with high-waisted trousers, and a red polka-dot dress paired with trainers. The overall look conveys lightness, authenticity, and movement, reflecting her good-humoured and practical personality.

An Image That Reflects Her Essence

Today, Erika has a wardrobe that works for her — not against her.Her image finally reflects a confident, down-to-earth, and good-humoured woman.

The morphopsychological analysis was the turning point that connected her external image to her internal identity — and that’s what makes the process truly transformative.

More than changing how she looks, this consultancy helped Erika rediscover the joy of getting dressed, the lightness of self-recognition, and the confidence of knowing that her image now communicates exactly who she is.
